As part of our recent 100th Anniversary celebrations, our company (Farmers Trading Company) provided each of our 58 stores around New Zealand with an iced and decorated cake as the centrepiece of the celebratory breakfast. The logo decoration on each cake had to be exactly the same and they all had to be delivered to the same time-specific deadline.
After some research and numerous samples, we chose Windmill Quality Cake Shop to supply our wider Wellington area. Windmill Cake Shop provided catering services for the national Quilt Symposium held in Wellington during Easter 2009. This five day event involved 1200 registrants and Windmill provided the following services:
- On-site café
- Catered lunches for special dietary requirements
- Snack meal catering for a 550 attendee event

Harbour City Quilt Symposium 2009
It was fantastic for the Kapiti Family Violence Initiative to partner with The Windmill Quality Cake Shop throughout 2008 to deliver the White Ribbon Biscuit to as many people as we could last November which was 3000. The company easily agreed to help develop a biscuit design and from there onward, the service was reliable, friendly and flexible.
Nothing seemed too much each time I had a request of Thomas. The quality of the biscuits were consistent and excellent , the company went beyond the call of duty. All the staff were friendly and got on board with the issue of preventing family violence by wearing ribbons and promoting the beach event.

The Windmill Quality Cake Shop Porirua was extraordinarily generous with their support for the Cancer Society's Relay For Life-Porirua.
Their afternoon tea for cancer survivors and carers was beautifully prepared and tasted delicious. Their wonderful breakfast muffins and scones fit the bill perfectly - healthy, tasty and just right for team members who were walking their final laps of the Relay. And to top it off, the Windmill team came in at 4.00am on a Sunday to help us out with the event! Thank you, Windmill - your generosity and support are greatly appreciated!
